Our Facilities
St Andrew’s Church Building
You can find our historic church building
here. It is open to visitors most days of the year from approximately 10 am to 4 pm, apart from during services of worship, which of course you are welcome to join us for! You can find out more about our worship services here. You can find out more about the history of the church building

St Andrew’s Churchyard
Our churchyard contains some 2500 graves and 860 cremation memorials. It is now sadly full, and closed to further burials. Availability of spaces for interment of ashes is severely restricted. More information can be found here. The churchyard is also recognised by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission as a place of burial for service personnel who died during the two World Wars. You can find out more here.
The Glebe
The Glebe is a largely wooded area, with nature trails, open to all, and maintained by an enthusiastic group of volunteers. It also houses our popular brood of chickens. You can find out more here.
The Sheepfield Garden
As the name suggests, this area was once a field for grazing sheep, but is now an open space with lawn and flower borders, open to all, beautifully maintained by volunteers. You can find out more here.
St Andrew’s Church Centre
The St Andrew’s Church Centre is a fully accessible, modern facility with main hall, two lounges, paved outdoor space, well-equipped kitchen and accessible toilets. It is used by both church and community groups for regular meetings and special events. It is also available for booking for private events. You can take a video tour of the Centre here, and find out more about the history of the Church Centre here. You can see the current bookings on our Church Centre calendar here.
