Other Mission Activities
Clevedon and District Food Bank
Together with Churches Together in Clevedon (CTiC), we are pleased to support the Clevedon District Food Bank.
Christians Against Poverty
Another Churches Together in Clevedon (CTiC) project, some of our members are involved in providing counselling and pastoral support for people struggling with debt. CAP is recommended by financial guru Martin Lewis (see here). You can find out more about this initiative by Christians all across the country here.
Chaplaincy
Some of our members have been trained as chaplains and visit businesses in the town to offer a listening ear and support to proprietors and staff. Again, this is a Churches Together in Clevedon (CTiC) initiative.
Cuppa and Company
We meet in the Walters' Lounge on the first Thursday of every month for informal chat over light refreshments. All are welcome.
Warm Welcome
During the winter months we open up our Church Centre for a few hours each Friday for people to come into the warm, have a light lunch, chat, play board games or do jigsaws. All are welcome. During the summer we open for Warm Welcome on the first and third Fridays of the month only. For dates and times, check on our Church Calendar.
The Big Breakfast
Every three months the St Andrews Church Centre hosts a free breakfast on a Saturday morning, where everyone is welcome, no strings attached. It is well used by members of the community outside the church. To find out when our next Big Breakfast takes place, see our latest news in What’s On.
Clevedon Churches Refugee Support Group (CCRSG)
Several of our members are actively involved in Clevedon Churches Refugee Support Group (CCRSG), another Churches Together in Clevedon (CTiC) initiative. You can find out more here.
